"ŻYŃY & Grzanka – Geek Music Experience" Concert

The “Geek Experience” Project: ŻYŃY and Grzanka have known each other for over 10 years. They’ve been playing together since they first met, spending time at rehearsals and beyond. Their paths crossed at the Academy of Music in Poznań, but even after leaving its halls, they never truly parted ways. Despite ŻYŃY’s move to Warsaw, they continue to play and create together. Especially for “Kontrast 2024,” they present “ŻYŃY & Grzanka Geek Experience”—a project that freely draws upon and reworks familiar themes from sci-fi, fantasy, and anime films and games. By deconstructing and utilizing samplers, turntablism, and the technological advancements of the 20th and 21st centuries in their own unique way, they will strive to create kontrast improvised kontrast the old and the new, the familiar and the yet-to-be-created. ŻYŃY and Grzanka invite you to join them in celebrating a “Kontrast” evening.
